The last time I freaked out, I just kept lookin' down. I st st stuttered when you asked me what I'm thinkin' 'bout.

I've been ill.
I'm still feeling under the weather, but on a plus side, this morning I think I got 'blessed' by a Jewish guy and then later found myself having a coffee and a chat with a guy who's written scripts for Hollyoaks.
Yesterday, I was sawing a toilet cistern off a wall because some bright spark thought it would be a good idea to use 'no more nails' glue instead of the traditional (and more common sense) screws to stabilise it.
It's been a strange week.

...there's nothing more satisfying than having to prise old sanitary ware from it's resting place - especially when you're under the weather. I have one that needs moving if you're free at the weekend...

Sadly, I think you're a little too far out of my 'call out area', penfold. Shame. I could have done with a nice holiday.

I'm not exactly sure how it's done but I'll send you a 'blessing' from a Jewish gal too...couldn't hurt, right?

Hope you're feeling better. There's been a cold bug going around - the girls in the office have had the sniffles but the blokes have been suffering man flu. Keep warm and catch up on your sleep!

fern,
I could do with all the help I can get, so thanks.

weenie,
A little better, thanks. I don't suffer from 'Man Flu' luckily. Damn cold has been hanging around me for ages now though. I wish it would just piss off.

I've had a threatening cold for weeks now. Part of me just wants it to come on, be, and go. But the other part of me is stuffing myself with garlic and echinacea. I have a half term break as of next Friday, so no doubt it will hold off til then.

Hope you feel better soon!

It does sound as if you're living in some fabulous farce at the mo. And that's got to be good, right?
