I'm just a notch in your bedpost, but you're just a line in a song.

I wonder how many bloggers have got a secret blog somewhere else?

A few things I've noticed whilst hitting the 'Next Blog' button on the blogger tool bar:
There's a lot of people who blog about their kids. I wonder if they intend to use them as a replacement to a photo album?
There's a lot of 'Arty' blogs. Some of them are really good, some not so.
Lots of 'family blogs' too, where each member of the family can post.

It certainly seems to evolved from the Teenage domination period.

I've often been tempted to write a secondary, secret blog with all the stuff I can't write on the 'real' one. But then , I'd probably be too busy blogging life to actually have one?

I've never really thought of blogging as a teenage thing. Does that mean I was with-it for a little while then?

No secret blog here either. I always think it's a little odd when people post pictures of children on the internet, but what do I know?

spiralskies,
A while ago, everywhere you looked in relation to blogs or other online journal type thingies, you would stumble upon many a teenagers' page. Usually with it's silly music embedded into the webpage, a different cursor, sparkly stars and what-not floating around everywhere and posts about which classes they missed and who has a crush on who.

cat,
The whole photos of kids on blogs thing is a contentious subject. It's such a shame too, because when you have wonderful kids, you just want to show them off and appreciate them in as many ways as you can.

I use POAD to record the little moments in life that would normally be consigned to a dusty filing cabinet in some far off corner of my memory, without a Dewey Decimal System in sight to keep track. This way when I descend into old age and I'm reduced to propping up the corner of the bar at the OAPs tea dance sipping Guinness through a straw, I can always read about how it really was. But I don't use photos or real names to protect the kids' identities.

duck,
It's a great idea, certainly. As a kid, I'd have much rather been shown my childhood in a funky way.
